Manuski Foundation is committed to transparency, accountability, and ethical practices in accepting and utilizing donations. This Donation Policy outlines the terms and conditions governing all donations made to the Foundation. By making a donation to us, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described below. We value your generosity and assure you that every contribution is used responsibly to serve underprivileged communities through education, healthcare, environmental conservation, food distribution, and social welfare initiatives.

1. Acceptance of Donations

Manuski Foundation welcomes donations from individuals, corporations, trusts, and other entities that align with our mission and values. We reserve the right to refuse any donation that:

  • Comes from sources involved in illegal activities, money laundering, or terrorism financing.
  • Imposes conditions that conflict with our core values, mission, or operational independence.
  • May harm the reputation or credibility of the Foundation.
  • Is anonymous above a threshold where legal or regulatory compliance requires donor identification (as per Indian laws).

All donations are accepted with the understanding that the Foundation has full discretion over the utilization of funds for its charitable programs.

2. Types of Donations Accepted

We accept the following forms of donations:

  • Monetary Donations: Online payments via credit/debit cards, net banking, UPI, and digital wallets through our secure payment gateway.
  • Bank Transfers: Direct bank transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) to our official bank account.
  • Cheque/Demand Draft: Payable to "Manuski Foundation" and sent to our registered address.
  • Foreign Contributions (FCRA): For international donations, we comply with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA) guidelines. Please contact us for FCRA-compliant donation procedures.
  • Corporate Donations (CSR): We welcome Corporate Social Responsibility contributions and provide necessary documentation, including project reports, utilization certificates, and 80G receipts.
  • In-Kind Donations: Food, clothing, books, medical supplies, and other essentials. Please coordinate with us before sending in-kind donations.

3. Tax Exemption (80G Certificate)

Manuski Foundation is registered under Section 12AB and 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. Donations made to the Foundation are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, subject to the provisions and limits prescribed by law.

Upon receiving your donation, we will issue a 80G receipt within 7-10 business days. This receipt serves as proof for claiming tax deduction. Please ensure you provide correct name, address, PAN, and contact details for the receipt. For donations above ₹2,000, PAN details are mandatory as per Income Tax rules.

4. Refund & Cancellation Policy

All donations made to Manuski Foundation are final and non-refundable. Donations are voluntary contributions towards our charitable causes, and once processed, cannot be reversed or refunded. However, in the following exceptional cases, we may consider a refund:

  • Duplicate/Erroneous Transaction: If a donor accidentally makes multiple donations for the same amount due to a technical error, we will refund the duplicate amount upon verification within 15 days.
  • Unauthorized Transaction: If a donation was made without the donor's consent due to fraud or hacking, we will cooperate with the donor and bank/payment gateway to investigate and refund the amount after due verification.

To request a refund review, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction at support@manuskifoundation.org with transaction details and proof of payment.

5. Utilization of Donations

Your donations are utilized to fund our charitable programs and administrative expenses as follows:

  • Program Expenses (85-90%): Directly towards education support, healthcare camps, food distribution, blood donation drives, tree plantation, women empowerment, and disaster relief.
  • Administrative & Operational Expenses (10-15%): Staff salaries, office expenses, communication, fundraising costs, and compliance/audit fees.

We maintain transparent accounting practices and publish annual reports, impact assessments, and audited financial statements on our website. Donors may request detailed utilization reports by contacting us.

6. Donor Privacy & Confidentiality

We respect the privacy of our donors. Manuski Foundation will not sell, trade, rent, or share donor personal information with any third party for marketing or commercial purposes. Donor information (name, contact details, donation amount) is kept confidential and used only for:

  • Issuing donation receipts and tax certificates.
  • Sending thank-you communications, newsletters, and impact updates (with opt-out option).
  • Internal record keeping, audit, and legal compliance.

If you wish to remain anonymous, please indicate your preference while donating. We will respect your request and not publicly acknowledge your contribution without consent.

7. Donor Recognition & Acknowledgment

We value every contribution, regardless of size. All donors will receive:

  • An immediate acknowledgment email/notification after successful donation.
  • An official 80G receipt within 7-10 business days.
  • A personalized thank-you letter/certificate from our Founder President for significant contributions (above ₹10,000).

We may feature donor names in our annual report, website, or social media (unless you opt for anonymity). For major donors (₹1,00,000 and above), we offer special recognition opportunities, project visits, and impact presentations.

8. Foreign Donations (FCRA Compliance)

Manuski Foundation complies with the Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010. As of our current registration status, we accept foreign donations only through our designated FCRA bank account. International donors are requested to:

  • Contact us at fcre@manuskifoundation.org before making any foreign contribution.
  • Provide necessary identity and address proof as required under FCRA guidelines.
  • Note that foreign donations are subject to reporting to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

For NRI donors, please consult your tax advisor regarding applicable deductions under Indian tax laws.

9. Grievance Redressal

If you have any complaints, concerns, or grievances regarding your donation, our policies, or utilization of funds, please contact our Grievance Officer:

10. Amendments to This Policy

Manuski Foundation reserves the right to update or modify this Donation Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Donors are encouraged to review this policy periodically. Continued engagement with the Foundation after any changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
